Synopsis

The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Oracle Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2022-5163 advisory.

- Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.41 to 2.4.46 mod_proxy_http can be made to crash (NULL pointer dereference) with specially crafted requests using both Content-Length and Transfer-Encoding headers, leading to a Denial of Service (CVE-2020-13950)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
