Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the 389-ds-base package installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 - A vulnerability was found in the 389 Directory Server that allows expired passwords to access the database to cause improper authentication. (CVE-2022-0996)

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Solution

Update the affected 389-ds-base packages.
