Synopsis

The remote web application server is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 22.0.0.5, with the adminCenter-1.0 feature configured, could allow an authenticated user to issue a request to obtain the status of HTTP/HTTPS ports which are accessible by the application server.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update to IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty version 22.0.0.6 or later. Alternatively, upgrade to the minimal fix pack levels required by the interim fix and then apply Interim Fix PH45086.
