The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.


The version of F5 Networks BIG-IP installed on the remote host is prior to 13.1.5 / / 15.1.5 / / 17.0.0. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the K37155600 advisory.

- When a Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) profile is configured on a virtual server, undisclosed traffic can cause an increase in Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) resource utilization. (CVE-2022-28691)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.


Upgrade to one of the non-vulnerable versions listed in the F5 Solution K37155600.
