Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting with 12.3. Under certain conditions it was possible to bypass the IP restriction for public projects through GraphQL allowing unauthorised users to read titles of issues, merge requests and milestones. (CVE-2022-0172)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 14.4.5, 14.5.3, 14.6.2 or later.
