Synopsis

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) is missing a security update.

Description

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability in its database component. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute arbitrary commands.

Note that Nessus has not attempted to exploit this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
