The remote Debian host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The remote Debian 9 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the dla-2949 advisory.

- SPIP before 3.2.14 and 4.x before 4.0.5 allows remote authenticated editors to execute arbitrary code.
(CVE-2022-26846)

- SPIP before 3.2.14 and 4.x before 4.0.5 allows unauthenticated access to information about editorial objects. (CVE-2022-26847)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the spip packages.

For Debian 9 stretch, these problems have been fixed in version 3.1.4-4~deb9u5.
