Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting with 8.15 . It was possible to trigger a DOS by using the math feature with a specific formula in issue comments. (CVE-2022-0489)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 14.6.5, 14.7.4, 14.8.2 or later.
