Synopsis
The Microsoft Exchange Server installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.Description
The Microsoft Exchange Server installed on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities including the following:- A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Exchange. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute arbitrary commands (CVE-2022-23277).
- An information disclosure vulnerability exists in Exchange. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to disclose the contents of files on the exchange server (CVE-2022-24463).
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
