Synopsis

The remote device is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability.

Description

The version of Citrix Workspace installed on the remote host is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability. An improper access control vulnerability exists in Citrix Workspace App for Linux 2012 - 2111 with App Protection installed that can allow an attacker to perform local privilege escalation.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Citrix Workspace App for Linux 2112 or later.
