The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2022:0665 advisory.

- python-pillow: buffer over-read during initialization of ImagePath.Path in path_getbbox() in path.c (CVE-2022-22816)

- python-pillow: PIL.ImageMath.eval allows evaluation of arbitrary expressions (CVE-2022-22817)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python3-pillow package.
