The remote PAN-OS host is affected by a vulnerability

Description

The version of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS running on the remote host is 8.1.x prior to 8.1.21 or 9.0.x prior to 9.1.12 or 9.1.x prior to 9.1.12 or 10.0.x prior to 10.0.8 or 10.1.x prior to 10.1.3. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability.

 - PAN-OS software provides options to exclude specific websites from URL category enforcement and those websites are blocked or allowed (depending on your rules) regardless of their associated URL category.
 This is done by creating a custom URL category list or by using an external dynamic list (EDL) in a URL Filtering profile. (CVE-2022-0011)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to PAN-OS 8.1.21 / 9.1.12 / 9.1.12 / 10.0.8 / 10.1.3 or later
