Description

The remote Scientific Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SLSA-2022:0473-1 advisory.

 - aide: heap-based buffer overflow on outputs larger than B64_BUF (CVE-2021-45417)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected aide and / or aide-debuginfo packages.
