Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 21.10 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-5242-1 advisory.

- A memory leak was found in Open vSwitch (OVS) during userspace IP fragmentation processing. An attacker could use this flaw to potentially exhaust available memory by keeping sending packet fragments.
(CVE-2021-3905)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
