Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

The remote Debian 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the dla-2878 advisory.

- Roundcube before 1.4.13 and 1.5.x before 1.5.2 allows XSS via an HTML e-mail message with crafted Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) token sequences. (CVE-2021-46144)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the roundcube packages.

For Debian 9 stretch, this problem has been fixed in version 1.2.3+dfsg.1-4+deb9u10.
