The Adobe Media Encoder installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The version of Adobe Media Encoder installed on the remote host is prior to 15.4.3, or 22.x prior to 22.1.1. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities, as follows:

 - Adobe Media Encoder versions 15.4.2 and earlier, and 22.x prior to 22.1.1 have an arbitrary code execution vulnerability, due to access of memory location after end of buffer and out-of-bounds read. (CVE-2021-43756, CVE-2021-43757)

 - Adobe Media Encoder versions 15.4.2 and earlier, and 22.x prior to 22.1.1 have an out-of-bounds read vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to privilege escalation. (CVE-2021-43757, CVE-2021-43758, CVE-2021-43759, CVE-2021-43760)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrace Adobe Media Encoder to version 15.4.3, 22.1.1 or later.
