The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES12 / SLES_SAP12 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2021:4060-1 advisory.

- An issue was discovered in GNU gettext 0.19.8. There is a double free in default_add_message in read- catalog.c, related to an invalid free in po_gram_parse in po-gram-gen.y, as demonstrated by lt-msgfmt.
(CVE-2018-18751)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected gettext-runtime, gettext-runtime-32bit and / or gettext-tools packages.
