Synopsis

The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2021:4361 advisory.

 - systemd: DHCP FORCERENEW authentication not implemented can cause a system running the DHCP client to have its network reconfigured (CVE-2020-13529)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
