Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2021:4517 advisory.- vim: heap-based buffer overflow in utf_ptr2char() in mbyte.c (CVE-2021-3778)
- vim: use-after-free in nv_replace() in normal.c (CVE-2021-3796)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
