The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2021:4198 advisory.

- edk2: NULL pointer dereference in AuthenticodeVerify() (CVE-2019-14584)

- openssl: integer overflow in CipherUpdate (CVE-2021-23840)

- openssl: NULL pointer dereference in X509_issuer_and_serial_hash() (CVE-2021-23841)

- edk2: unlimited FV recursion, round 2 (CVE-2021-28210)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected edk2-aarch64 and / or edk2-ovmf packages.
