Synopsis

The Nexus Repository Manager server running on the remote host is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.

Description

The Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager server application running on the remote host is version 3.x prior to 3.21.2. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability, which allows for an attacker with any type of account on NXRM to execute arbitrary code by crafting a malicious request to NXRM.
 Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager version 3.21.2 or later.
