Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe Lightroom Classic installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 10.4. It is, therefore, affected by privilege escalation vulnerability. The vulnerability exists due to creation of temporary file in directory with incorrect permissions, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Lightroom Classic 10.4 or later.
