Synopsis

The remote PhotonOS host is missing multiple security updates.

Description

An update of the kubernetes package has been released.

 - A security issue was discovered in Kubernetes where a user may be able to create a container with subpath volume mounts to access files & directories outside of the volume, including on the host filesystem.
 (CVE-2021-25741)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected Linux packages.
