Synopsis

The Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Microsoft has released the following security updates to address this issue:
