The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

The remote Debian 9 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the dla-2755 advisory.

- Btrbk before 0.31.2 allows command execution because of the mishandling of remote hosts filtering SSH commands using ssh_filter_btrbk.sh in authorized_keys. (CVE-2021-38173)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the btrbk packages.

For Debian 9 stretch, this problem has been fixed in version 0.24.0-1+deb9u1.
