Synopsis

The remote Fedora host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Fedora 34 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the FEDORA-2021-74b76e593a advisory.

- Firefox incorrectly accepted a newline in a HTTP/3 header, interpretting it as two separate headers. This allowed for a header splitting attack against servers using HTTP/3. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 91.0.1 and Thunderbird < 91.0.1. (CVE-2021-29991)

- - New upstream update (91.0.1) - Fixes font crashes (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/1726515) (FEDORA-2021-74b76e593a) Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected firefox package.
