Synopsis

The remote SAP NetWeaver server is affected by a Memory Corruption vulnerability.

Description

A memory corruption vulnerability exists in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP due to buffer overflow from RFC Requests. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this by sending overlong content, crashing the corresponding work process.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
