Synopsis

The version of Apple iOS running on the mobile device is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Apple iOS running on the mobile device is prior to 14.7. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities including the following:

- An unspecified vulnerability in Measure affecting availability, confidentiality and availability vectors.
(CVE-2020-36329)

- A stack overflow vulnerability in FontParser which was addressed with improved input validation. (CVE-2021-30759)

- An integer overflow vulnerability in FontParser which was addressed through improved input validation.
(CVE-2021-30760)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Apple iOS version 14.7 or later
