Synopsis

The remote SAP NetWeaver server is affected by a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability.

Description

A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in BSP-Pages within Websurvey due to improper encoding of input and output parameters. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
