Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux AMI host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of runc installed on the remote host is prior to 1.0.0-0.3.20210225.git12644e6.4. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS-2021-1499 advisory. Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Run 'yum update runc' to update your system.
