Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for libxml2.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2021:1597 advisory.- libxml2: Buffer overflow vulnerability in xmlEncodeEntitiesInternal() in entities.c (CVE-2020-24977)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
