Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is missing a security update.

Description

Microsoft Visual Studio Code Remote Development Extension could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system. By persuading a victim to open specially-crafted content, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the victim.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
