Adobe Bridge installed on remote macOS or Mac OS X host is affected by a multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The version of Adobe Bridge installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is prior to 10.0.3. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb20-17 advisory.

 - Adobe Bridge versions 10.0 have an out-of-bounds write vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution. (CVE-2020-9551)

 - Adobe Bridge versions 10.0 have a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution. (CVE-2020-9552)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Bridge version 10.0.3 or later.
