Synopsis

The remote CentOS host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the CESA-2020:4763 advisory.

 - dovecot: command followed by sufficient number of newlines leads to use-after-free (CVE-2020-10958)

 - dovecot: sending mail with empty quoted localpart leads to DoS (CVE-2020-10967)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
