Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2020:0981 advisory.

- ipmitool: Buffer overflow in read_fru_area_section function in lib/ipmi_fru.c (CVE-2020-5208)

Solution

Update the affected exchange-bmc-os-info, ipmievd and / or ipmitool packages.
