The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2020:4687 advisory.

- oddjob: race condition in oddjob_selinux_mkdir function in mkhomedir.c can lead to symlink attack (CVE-2020-10737)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected oddjob and / or oddjob-mkhomedir packages.
