Synopsis

The remote CentOS host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the CESA-2019:1518 advisory.

 - OpenJDK: Slow conversion of BigDecimal to long (Libraries, 8211936) (CVE-2019-2602)

 - OpenJDK: Incorrect skeleton selection in RMI registry server-side dispatch handling (RMI, 8218453) (CVE-2019-2684)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
