The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 16.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the USN-4702-1 advisory.

- Apsis Pound before 2.8a allows request smuggling via crafted headers, a different vulnerability than CVE-2005-3751. (CVE-2016-10711)

- Pound before 2.8 allows HTTP request smuggling, a related issue to CVE-2016-10711. (CVE-2018-21245)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected pound package.
