The version of Adobe Character Animator installed on the remote Windows host is missing a vendor-supplied patch.

Description

The version of Adobe Character Animator installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 3.3. It is, therefore, affected by a stack-based buffer overflow condition. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to cause the execution of arbitrary code.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Character Animator version 3.3 or later.
