Synopsis

An application installed on the remote Windows host is affected by an arbitrary code execution vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe Prelude CC installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 9.0.2 It is, therefore, affected by an uncontrolled search path vulnerability. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution on an affected host.

Note that Nessus has not attempted to exploit these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Prelude version 9.0.2 or later.
