Synopsis

The version of NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit installed on the remote host is affected by an Arbitrary Code Execution vulnerability.

Description

NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit contains a vulnerability in the NVJPEG library in which an out-of-bounds read or write operation may lead to code execution, denial of service, or information disclosure.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit 11.1.1 or later.
