New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.
VPR Score: 4.9
Synopsis
The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.
Description
The version of tested product installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2020-1504 advisory.
- Improper access control in subsystem for BlueZ before version 5.54 may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege and denial of service via adjacent access (CVE-2020-0556)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Run 'yum update bluez' to update your system.
