Synopsis

A message queuing service installed on the remote host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the IBM WebSphere MQ server installed on the remote Windows host is version 8.0.0.x prior to 8.0.0.8, 9.0.0.x prior to 9.0.0.3, or 9.0.4. It is, therefore, affected by a denial of service vulnerability. An IBM WebSphere MQ Client connecting to a MQ Queue Manager can cause a SIGSEGV in the AMQRMPPA channel process terminating it.

Solution

Upgrade to IBM MQ 8.0.0.8 / 9.0.5 / 9.0.0.3 or later.
