Synopsis

A message queuing service installed on the remote host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the IBM WebSphere MQ server installed on the remote Windows host is version 8.0.0.x prior to 8.0.0.8, 9.0.x prior to 9.0.4 or 9.0.0.x prior to 9.0.0.2.
It is, therefore, affected by a denial of service vulnerability. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue to cause the service to stop responding.

Solution

Upgrade to IBM MQ 8.0.0.8 / 9.0.4 / 9.0.0.2 or later.
