Description

The remote Oracle Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2020-3916 advisory.

- Heap buffer overflow in the TFTP protocol handler in cURL 7.19.4 to 7.65.3. (CVE-2019-5482)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected curl, libcurl and / or libcurl-devel packages.
