Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 20.04 LTS host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-4553-1 advisory.

- CServer::SendMsg in engine/server/server.cpp in Teeworlds 0.7.x before 0.7.5 allows remote attackers to shut down the server. (CVE-2020-12066)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected teeworlds, teeworlds-data and / or teeworlds-server packages.
