The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2020:3735 advisory.

- dovecot: Resource exhaustion via deeply nested MIME parts (CVE-2020-12100)

- dovecot: Out of bound reads in dovecot NTLM implementation (CVE-2020-12673)

- dovecot: Crash due to assert in RPA implementation (CVE-2020-12674)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected dovecot, dovecot-mysql and / or dovecot-pgsql packages.
