New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)

Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.

VPR Score: 3

An application and VM management software on the remote host is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

The version of VMWare App Volumes installed on the remote host is 2.x prior to 2.18.6, or 4.x prior to (2006).
It is, therefore, affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability. A malicious actor with access to create and edit applications or create storage groups, may be able to inject malicious script which will be executed by a victim's browser when viewing.

Upgrade to VMware App Volumes 2.18.6, (2006) or later.
