New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.

SynopsisThe remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch
DescriptionAccording to its self-reported version, Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is affected by a vulnerability in the interprocess communication (IPC) channel due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An authenticated, local attacker can exploit this, by sending a crafted IPC message to the AnyConnect process on an affected device, in order to overwrite VPN profiles, provided the attacker has valid credentials on the Windows system.
