Synopsis

The remote web server contains a PHP script that is affected by a broken access control vulnerability.

Description

The version of TYPO3 installed on the remote host is 9.3 prior to 9.5.8. It is, therefore, affected by broken access control. An authenticated, remote attacker could exploit this, by leveraging a flaw in the import/export module, to permit them access to functionality normally reserved for an administrator.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version

Solution

Upgrade to TYPO3 9.5.8 or later.
